How many classes are there in a term?
Your children will be enrolled for 11 classes per term or part thereof if joining mid term.
What should my child wear to a Cricket Hoppers class?
Children should wear suitable clothing and footwear for a fun filled active class, taking into account seasonal fluctuations in temperature. Please name items of clothing especially tops that might get taken off and left behind. We will ensure this is brought back to the next session and returned to you.
Should we bring anything to eat or drink?
The kids will work up an appetite - we advise you to bring a drink and snack for afterwards.
What kit or equipment do we need to bring?
Cricket Hoppers has all kit and equipment for your child to enjoy using, however if your child would like to bring along their own bat, please do.
Do we need to stay?
We will need you to stay with your child and we would be keen for parents to be prepared to get involved when coaches request and or invite, under their direction.
What if a child misses a class?
Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds. However, we will consider any cases where long term absence is a necessity, following written communication.
Where are the classes held?
Classes are held on weekend mornings at Kings' School on Saturday and Prince's Mead on Sunday. We also have a Tuesday class for pre-schoolers (3 and 4 year olds) at Winchester Racquet and Fitness. See our About our Classes page for class times.
How long do the classes last?
Classes run for 45 minutes, with 15 minute change over for the following class.
What are the coach to child ratios?
In general, 1 coach for every 6-8 children, however, our Head Coach, will continually assess the needs of every group and make adjustments to ensure effective coaching sessions take place with support and care for each individual child.
What if Cricket Hoppers has to cancel a class?
Hall closures in adverse weather – we do not offer any refunds for closures relating to adverse weather conditions. We will help to try and arrange a catch-up class in this situation.
What if my child is older than 8 years and wants to join or continue with Cricket Hoppers?
We will carefully consider each request individually and if deemed suitable, make a positive judgement.
How do we pay?
We process all payments through GoCardless. We think this is an easy and safe way for you to process payment. We will notify you to set up a payment agreement with us and Go Cordless and will always contact you before any payments are taken.
How do I re-enrol?
To protect your child's place for the following term, you will automatically be enrolled and payment will be debited via GoCardless, unless you choose not to. We will always contact you beforehand.
What notice period do I need to give if not continuing into the next term?
We will notify you 14 days in advance of renewal and you must notify us within that period if you do not wish to continue classes. If we do not receive your cancellation notice within that 14 day period you will automatically be charged for the following terms' fees at the expirey of that 14 day period.
How do I unsubscribe from the mailing list?
We have many procedures in place to look after your data. However if you would like to be removed from our mailing list please email firstname.lastname@example.org along with your name and email address and we will arrange for it to be removed within 48 hours.
